The Grand Pup is situated in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Nestled right in Historic Downtown Mount Airy N.C. at the corners of Main Street and Oak Street. Safe and secure parking is available in the side and lower parking lots off of Oak Street. You pets will be staying in luxury private suites. Designed to be as cozy and homelike as possible. There is also a private green space for your pets to get some outdoor time and fresh air. A Spa is available for all your grooming needs so they can look and feel their best. The friendly staff here love animals and love what they do. They treat the guests as if they were their own furbabies. Giving individual attention to each and everyone that comes in to stay here with us.

The Hotel's veterinarian is Surry Animal Hospital and Dr. Mark Hauser. He is our advisor and go to veterinarian while your pet is staying here. Requirements for a stay in the hotel are up-to-date shot records. Required shots are for canines: Rabies, DHPP/DHLPP (Distemper; Parvovirus); Bordotella (kennel cough). Feline requirements are Rabies; FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis/callivirus/panleukenia). Guests are also required to be on a flea treatment. Any guests who comes into the Hotel infected with fleas or ticks will be immediately treated at the owner's expense.

Collars and Harnesses are required for all Hotel guests. Leases, toys, food bowls and any other personal items need to be labeled with owners last name and dogs names whenever possible. The hotel is not responsible for lost or damaged items. A boarding contract will be required to be filled out before their stay and a copy of their shot records need to be turned in to be kept on file.
